Hi

I am currently experiencing issues with my bluetooth and windows update. Firstly, I was using my computer and I could use the bluetooth but after waking up this morning to use the computer, the bluetooth could not be switched on and it said bluetooth turned off but I did not even turn it off. Secondly, while searching solutions for the bluetooth problems, I saw lots of people saying to update the drivers and I wanted to update windows but I came across error code (0x80070002). When I tried to update windows, it says "THERE WERE PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING SOME UPDATES, BUT WE'LL TRY AGAIN LATER. IF YOU KEEP SEEING THIS, TRY SEARCHING THE WEB OR CONTACTING SUPPORT FOR HELP. THIS ERROR CODE MIGHT HELP: (0x80070002)". Can anyone please help :(

    Hi Tjiaming,

Thank you for your feedback. It appears that the bluetooth radio is a driver for your machine, and it is not working properly. Since the issue still persist, kindly perform a repair install of you Windows. I suggest that you watch the video on this article(https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repai... or https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2016/06/how-to...) for you to have an idea regarding the process of repair install. There should be no worries in performing it since you will select the option to keep your files during the process.

Please let me know how it goes. Thank you.

I've run the commands already and rebooted it a few times.

Yes and the troubleshooter could not tell what is wrong but when i let the system to detect what is wrong with the bluetooth, they said that the bluetooth radio is not plugged in properly. I don't get what is a bluetooth radio. Is it something that is built in to my pc??

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Can you free up some space on your drive by going to Settings > System > Storage > click on "Free up space now". Once done, kindly try the steps below:

    1. Perform a reset of your windows update components using this reset script. Please refer to this article (ensure that you are running the command prompt as an administrator): https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2015/12/reset-...
    2. Kindly run the SFC and DISM command as well to repair system files

2.1. On the search bar, type "command prompt" and select Run as administrator

2.2. Type the following commands in order

    sfc /scannow then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealth then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /ScanHealth then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth then press Enter

    1. Reboot your machine and try to check the updates again.

Regarding your bluetooth issue, have you tried to run the Bluetooth troubleshooter? Kindly go to Start > Settings > Update and Security > Troubleshoot > Bluetooth > select Run Troubleshooter.

    I hope this helps.
